MMHA Celebrates Hockey Day

Markham got to celebrate hockey in August with an equipment swap, a road hockey tournament and fitting demos. Fans were also treated to Steven Stamkos donating 45 helmets and 45 pairs of skates, for each of the 45 goals he had in the 2010-2011 season. A floorball game broke out with Stamkos and former Waxer Alumni participating with local players. It was great to see the enthusiasm for hockey with try outs just around the corner.
