Healthy Heart Clinic

Shoppers Drug Mart Pharmacy, at Hwy 7 and Ninth Line, launched their first Healthy Heart clinic with great success. Patrons were introduced to alternative lifestyle choices that support healthy heart and cardiovascular systems. Dieticians and pharmacists answered questions on diet, homemade heart healthy food, exercise and medications. They gave away free blood pressure smart cards and offered free health screenings for diabetes, blood pressure and stroke risk and AIC testing. Everyone was so pleased with the response that the staff at Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacy is already planning their next community outreach event.
