Making Christmas dreams come true

Markham Aquatic Club - Christmas Party

The Markham Aquatic Club held their annual children’s Christmas party on Saturday December 18. The competive swim club wanted to give back to the community and teamed up with The York Regional Police for a new initiative called “Cram the Cruiser”. More than 150 members of the club crammed the police cruiser with 300 toys and gently used coats and non perishable food. These items were distributed to the needy in the York region and helped to bring Christmas joy to the needy.
Head age group Coach Brian Lindsey, took time out of his busy training schedule to make an appearance as Santa Claus and add the final gift to the cruiser!
Markham Aquatic Club (MAC) is a non-profit organization and community service club promoting and teaching correct swimming techniques to children and adults.
